About DropNZ

DropNZ ("we", "us") is an independent website at dropnz.com. It checks New Zealand stores' websites for Pokémon Trading Card Game products and shows what they report. We don't sell anything.

We're not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, Creatures, Game Freak or any store we list. Product names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Agreeing to these terms

By using dropnz.com, our alerts or the DropNZ Discord, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use DropNZ.

Stock information is not guaranteed

• Everything we show comes from stores' own websites, checked automatically every few minutes. It can be late, incomplete or wrong. A product can sell out between checks, branch stock can lag the shelf, and prices can change.
• Without membership, the radar shows stock as it was 15 minutes earlier.
• Always check with the store before you buy or travel. We're not responsible for a purchase, a trip, a missed drop or any other decision you make based on DropNZ.
• When you follow a link to a store, you're dealing with that store, on its terms and at its prices.

Membership

• The radar remains free with delayed stock. One DropNZ membership includes live website access and instant Discord alerts for Pokémon restocks and releases, plus your watchlist and personalised alerts by Discord DM.
• Sign in using Discord. Discord's own terms and privacy policy cover your Discord account.
• Memberships are for one person. Keep your Discord login to yourself. If you are under 16, check with a parent or guardian before joining.
• Manage or cancel Stripe billing through Manage billing. If you have ever paid, ask in the DropNZ Discord to have your data deleted, so cancellation and required billing records are handled safely.

Price

• Browsing the delayed radar is free. Stripe Checkout shows the subscription price, currency and billing interval before you confirm payment. First-time members get a 2-day free trial, once per person. A card is required, and the first monthly charge is taken when the trial ends unless the subscription is canceled before then. Anyone who has been a member before is charged immediately. There is no payment grace period when the first charge after a trial fails.
• Membership is NZ$6 a month. Discord alerts and live website access are covered by the same membership.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation at the end of a billing period keeps access until the displayed end date.
• Previously active members have a three-day grace period for a failed renewal. Update payment details in Manage billing to avoid losing access.
• Members who joined at the earlier NZ$4.99/month rate keep it while continuously subscribed. If membership ends, rejoining is at NZ$6 a month.
• Leaving Discord or deleting website data does not itself cancel a subscription. You must cancel billing using the billing portal.
• We may change, add or remove features at any time.

Alerts

• Discord pings and personalised alerts by DM are sent on a best-effort basis. They can be late, missed or sent in error, for example when a store blocks our checks.
• You can change or remove your personalised alerts on the radar at any time, or stop them by turning off DMs from the DropNZ server in Discord.

The DropNZ Discord

The Discord is covered by Discord's own terms and by the server's rules. Be respectful. We may remove anyone who spams, harasses others or misuses the server.

Fair use

You agree not to:

• scrape, copy or republish DropNZ's data or alerts in bulk, or resell them, without our written permission
• overload the site, probe it, or try to get around its security or limits
• use DropNZ for anything unlawful

We can suspend or end a membership that breaks these terms.

Your information

We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.

• What we collect. Your stable Discord ID, display name and verified email when available, watchlist and alert preferences, your Speed checkout list and, only if you choose to save them, the delivery details (name, email and delivery address) filled into stores’ checkouts, stored encrypted and deletable from the radar’s Alerts at any time, Stripe customer/subscription IDs and membership dates/status. We never store raw card details or Discord OAuth access tokens. Historical account records may be retained for support and billing administration.
• Why. To authenticate you, deliver alerts, manage billing access and reconcile Discord membership.
• Cookies and storage. A server-side session uses a secure HttpOnly cookie on HTTPS, and a short-lived cookie protects login. The radar stores preferences in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies.
• Providers. Discord handles login and server roles; Stripe handles payments; the DropNZ bot sends personalised alerts by Discord DM; Resend sends occasional service emails; our hosting provider stores application data. These providers may process information outside New Zealand. We do not sell information or share it for advertising.
• Your choices. Correct your identity details in Discord and sign in again. Manage payment details in Stripe's billing portal. Contact DropNZ through the Discord for access, correction or deletion requests. Billing records needed to administer subscriptions or meet retention obligations may be retained.

Liability

DropNZ is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss that comes from using DropNZ, including relying on its stock information or alerts.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986 or any other New Zealand law that can't be excluded. If you use DropNZ for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act doesn't apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change matters, we'll say so on the site or in the Discord. Using DropNZ after a change means you accept it.

Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts have jurisdiction.
